Shipping and Returns Policy

At Strickly Pups House, the safety and comfort of every Toy Poodle and Mini Goldendoodle puppy are our highest priorities. We work carefully with approved families to arrange safe pickup or delivery and provide clear information before a puppy leaves our care.

Please read this Shipping and Returns Policy before reserving a puppy. Your signed puppy agreement will contain the final terms that apply to your reservation.

Puppy Pickup and Delivery

Families may collect their puppy in person or request an available delivery option. Depending on the puppy’s age, health, destination, weather, and transportation availability, delivery options may include ground transportation, an airport meeting, or flight-nanny service.

Before scheduling transportation, we will confirm:

  • The puppy’s travel readiness
  • The new owner’s name and contact information
  • The delivery address or meeting location
  • The transportation method
  • The expected travel date
  • The delivery fee
  • The remaining puppy balance
  • Any documents required at pickup

All pickup and delivery arrangements must be confirmed in writing.

Puppy Travel Requirements

A puppy will travel only when it is old enough, properly weaned, healthy enough for transportation, and prepared for the journey. Commercial transportation of dogs in the United States is subject to humane-treatment requirements, and puppies transported for commercial purposes must generally be at least eight weeks old and weaned.

Travel may be postponed if we believe transportation could place the puppy’s health or comfort at risk.

Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery dates are provided after the reservation is completed and transportation has been arranged. Delivery timeframes may vary according to distance, transportation schedules, weather, road conditions, airport operations, and other circumstances outside our control.

We will communicate important updates and work with the new owner to arrange the next safe delivery date when a delay occurs.

An estimated delivery date is not a guaranteed arrival time.

Weather and Travel Delays

Extreme heat, cold weather, storms, flight cancellations, road closures, or other unsafe conditions may require us to reschedule transportation.

A delay made to protect the puppy will not be treated as a failure to deliver. We will contact the new owner and provide an updated travel plan as soon as a safe option becomes available.

Delivery Fees

Delivery and transportation fees are separate from the puppy’s listed price unless clearly stated otherwise.

The new owner is responsible for reviewing and approving the delivery fee before transportation is booked. Delivery fees already paid to a transport provider may be non-refundable after the service has been scheduled or started.

Additional charges caused by an incorrect address, missed meeting, unavailable recipient, or requested change may be the responsibility of the new owner.

Receiving Your Puppy

The person receiving the puppy must be available at the agreed time and location. Valid identification may be required before the puppy is released.

After receiving the puppy, inspect the available records and confirm that you have received the correct puppy, documents, food information, and care instructions.

Please provide fresh water, allow the puppy to rest, and avoid overwhelming it with too many visitors or activities during its first days at home.

Veterinary Examination After Arrival

New owners should arrange an examination with a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving their puppy. Take all vaccination, deworming, feeding, and health records to the appointment.

Contact Strickly Pups House immediately if the veterinarian identifies a serious health concern. Any claim must follow the requirements and timeframes stated in the signed puppy health agreement.

Reservation Cancellations

Reservation payments hold a specific puppy and remove it from availability to other approved families. For this reason, reservation payments are generally non-refundable when the buyer changes their mind, fails to complete payment, becomes unavailable, or decides not to proceed.

Any transfer of a reservation to another available puppy must be approved by Strickly Pups House in writing.

If Strickly Pups House cannot complete the placement for reasons within our control, the available options will be explained according to the signed puppy agreement.

Returns and Change-of-Mind Requests

Puppies are living animals and cannot be returned in the same way as ordinary retail products. A refund will not normally be provided because of a change in schedule, housing situation, family preference, allergies, landlord restrictions, or the normal responsibilities of puppy ownership.

Families should carefully consider the cost, time, training, grooming, veterinary care, and long-term responsibility involved before reserving a puppy.

Clear refund and cancellation terms should be made available before an online purchase or reservation is completed.

Health-Related Concerns

If a serious health concern is identified shortly after arrival, notify us immediately and provide written documentation from a licensed veterinarian.

Health-related requests will be reviewed according to:

  • The signed puppy agreement
  • The veterinary examination deadline
  • The puppy’s available health records
  • The veterinarian’s diagnosis
  • The recommended treatment
  • Whether the owner followed the care instructions
  • Any exclusions stated in the health agreement

We do not cover routine veterinary expenses, future vaccinations, grooming, training, minor stress-related changes, or conditions caused by an accident, neglect, improper care, exposure, or failure to follow veterinary instructions unless the written agreement states otherwise.

Returning or Rehoming a Puppy

We understand that unexpected situations can occur. If you can no longer care for your puppy, contact Strickly Pups House before selling, surrendering, transferring, or rehoming it.

We will discuss safe and responsible options based on the puppy’s circumstances. Returning a puppy does not automatically qualify the owner for a refund.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the owner is responsible for the cost of safely returning the puppy.

A puppy must never be abandoned or placed in an unsafe environment.

Incorrect Customer Information

The new owner is responsible for providing accurate contact, delivery, and identification information.

Strickly Pups House is not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by:

  • An incorrect delivery address
  • An incomplete phone number
  • Missed calls or messages
  • An unavailable recipient
  • Incorrect airport information
  • A last-minute location change
  • Failure to provide required identification

Any additional transportation cost caused by incorrect information may be charged to the new owner.

Updates to This Policy

Strickly Pups House may update this Shipping and Returns Policy when our procedures, transportation options, or applicable requirements change.

The policy and puppy agreement in effect at the time of reservation will apply to that placement.
